Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is a security feature that makes your account much safer.

Normally, you log in using only your password. With 2FA, you need two things to log in:

  1. Something you know – your password

  2. Something you have – a special code from your phone (from an authenticator app like Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator)

Even if someone steals your password, they cannot log in without the code from your phone.
