Step 1: Log in to cPanel:Access cPanel Dashboard.
 
Step 2: Open JetBackup 5:Locate backup tools.

Scroll down to the Files section and click on JetBackup 5.

Step 3: Navigate to Email Accounts:Select backup category.

In the JetBackup 5 main dashboard, click on Email Accounts under the Restore & Download section.

Step 4: Select Email Account & Backup Date:Choose snapshot date.
  • Locate the specific email address (or select all email accounts) from the list.

  • Click Choose Change Options next to the target email account.

  • Select the desired backup date/time snapshot from the list of available points.

Step 5: Add to Download Queue:Generate archive package.
  • Click the Download button at the bottom of the page.

  • In the confirmation pop-up, click Download Selected Items to initiate the creation of your backup file.

Step 6: Retrieve the Backup File:Save to local computer.
  • Click Downloads from the left navigation menu in JetBackup 5.

  • Wait for the process status to change to Completed.

  • Click the Download button next to the generated item to save the .tar.gz archive to your computer.

Additional Email Backup Options in JetBackup 5

  • Email Filters & Forwarders: If you need to back up email rules, filters, or forwarders, select Email Forwarders or Email Filters under the Restore & Download section and follow the same steps.

  • Direct Restore: If your goal is to restore lost emails directly back to the server instead of downloading a local file, select Restore instead of Download in Step 5.
